Wind Band Tartu ... was established in 1948 and has become the representative Wind Band of Tartu. The members of Wind Band Tartu are of different ages and mainly come from Tartu and its vicinity. Though the members of Wind Band Tartu are mainly amateurs, the orchestra still makes music that everyone, not just keen lovers of wind instruments, can enjoy.

Our repertoire is varied. Wind Band Tartu has played spiritual, symphonic and dance music and we continue experimenting with others. The Wind Band Tartu also teaches the progeny of wind, brass and percussion players in a private music school. The head conductor of the band is Margus Kasemaa.

Therefore , anyone who is interested in learning to play an instrument or already can play and wishes to enjoy a good company and good music, COME TO US!!!
